International Rescue Committee launches 2nd challenge soliciting improved packaging to use in medical-supply delivery in Sierra Leone
New York, NY and Newark, NJ, July 5, 2023 – The International Rescue Committee (IRC), a global humanitarian organization that helps people affected by conflict and disaster, launched their second open-innovation challenge today. It is seeking new ideas for cost-efficient packaging that can be used in the delivery of medical supplies in Sierra Leone. Prize money is US$25,000. The challenge is open until 8 October, 2023. New York, NY and Newark, NJ, June 14, 2023 – The International Rescue Committee (IRC), a global humanitarian organization that helps people affected by conflict and disaster, launched their first open-innovation challenge today. It is seeking new ideas in three different categories of problems with current latrines: improved lighting, locking and alerting when in need of maintenance. Prize money is US$30,000.
